Bali Rattan Craft
Decades of collective, hands-on experience in sustainable sourcing, traditional weaving and bespoke pieces that honour the heritage of Balinese artistry.

We came to Bali rotancraft as active participants, not observers — spending countless hours in workshops across Bali, learning from master artisans whose families have passed their skills down for generations. That gives us an intimate understanding of the craft, from harvesting sustainable cane to the final weave.
We have watched raw cane become furniture and decor many times over, and our team has dedicated their careers to preserving and promoting the craft, keeping the integrity and authenticity of each piece intact.
“We do not just sell Bali rotancraft; we live and breathe it.”
Our knowledge goes beyond making: the place of rattan in Balinese culture, how different species behave and wear, and where contemporary design is heading — so we can advise on design, maintenance and the cultural context of every piece.
The areas we know best — and that buyers lean on us for.

Strict material-selection guidelines keep every cane ethically sourced and free from defects. Our production practices put artisan welfare, fair wages and safe working conditions first.
We keep refining our operations to reduce waste and use resources well — our standards cover the whole life of a piece, from forest to the client’s home.
We source rattan from sustainably managed sources in Indonesia with responsible harvesting that supports forest health, and our processes minimise waste and environmental impact.
